Swim Scene Teachers

Glenda

Principal

I opened my first swim school in 1991 to pass on my passion and feel for water. I have had the privilege of seeing some of my early swimmers going on to become competitive swimmers at national levels, but my main satisfaction is always in seeing young swimmers learning to love the water.

Nick

Swim Teacher

I am a seasoned campaigner and ex-national swimmer with decades of swim teaching and coaching experience, with a great deal of passion for swimming!

Lorna

Swim Teacher

I was teaching in an Infant School for twenty years before shaking it up and moving to an aquatic classroom! I am passionate about enabling children to achieve their goals no matter how big or small the steps to reach them.

Zanny

Swim Teacher

I’ve been teaching swimming for nearly 20 years. I have taught babies, adults and children with special needs. I really love working with children, encouraging them to love the water, to see their improvements and progressions.

Lisa

Swim Teacher

My passion is in surfing and swimming. I am in the water through the darkest of winter days paddling out in the waves at 6am. I believe every child should have the skill to be able to safely and confidently enjoy water!

Emma

Swim Teacher

Born and raised on a subtropical coastline, the sea was a part of my life from infancy. My love for water developed as I grew older and became a competitive swimmer. I did well in national competitive swimming as well as open water meets for a few years before becoming a swim teacher in 2017.
